Thank you to every student who auditioned for this year’s musical. The level of preparation, bravery, and artistry shown throughout auditions made this process both exciting and incredibly challenging. We are deeply proud of the work our students brought into the audition room.

If your name appears on the callback list below, congratulations — you are being strongly considered for one or more roles in the production.

📋 Callback Schedule

Callbacks will take place on:

• Wednesday, December 17th, 2025 (3:00 - 4:00)

• Thursday, December 18th, 2025 (3:00 - 4:00)

📍 Location: Mr. Balajadia’s Room - Room 9101
⏰ Arrival Time: Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in and warm up.

Students may be called back for multiple roles and may be asked to remain longer than their assigned time block. Please plan accordingly.

👀 What to Expect at Callbacks

Callbacks are a standard part of the casting process and are not a re-audition. They allow the creative team to gather additional information needed to make thoughtful, well-balanced casting decisions.

During callbacks, students may be asked to:

• Read from specific audition sides

• Sing a short excerpt from the show or a designated callback selection

• Participate in movement and/or dance combinations

• Work with other students to explore character interactions and chemistry

• Take direction and make adjustments in real time

Callbacks often resemble a rehearsal environment and are used to assess flexibility, collaboration, and responsiveness to direction.

🎒 What to Bring

Please come prepared with:

• A filled water bottle

• Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for movement

• Your audition materials (sides and/or music)

• A focused, positive, and respectful attitude

• Hair should be pulled back if long. Avoid restrictive or unsafe clothing for movement.

⭐ Important Casting Disclaimer

Thank you again to all students who auditioned. Auditioning takes courage and vulnerability, and we recognize the effort every student brought to the process.

Please understand that not receiving a callback does not mean that you are not being cast. Many roles — including ensemble and featured roles — are often cast directly from initial auditions without a callback.

Callbacks are used only when the creative team needs to see specific auditioners again in order to:

• Hear voices again for range, tone, or harmony placement

• Explore specific role requirements

• Observe chemistry between particular students

• Clarify moments that require further exploration beyond the initial audition

• Assess movement, staging, or physical storytelling needs

Casting decisions are based on the overall needs and balance of the production, not on callback status alone. We ask students to trust the process and continue supporting one another throughout this stage.
