Our vision is to cultivate future-ready artists and compassionate citizens who understand that music is a lifelong practice of connection, reflection, and justice.
Through projects that blend cultural heritage, contemporary artistry, and social imagination, Camp Hughes aims to ignite curiosity, empathy, and collaboration — guiding every camper toward becoming a leader in their own story and in the world around them.

Camp Hughes Choir Program is more than a music classroom—it’s a community of voices learning to listen, reflect, and grow together.
Guided by Social-Emotional Learning and Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, we empower students to explore their identities, express themselves authentically, and use music as a tool for connection and care.
Through collaboration, creativity, and celebration of culture, our choirs build not only musicianship but empathy, belonging, and pride.
